Keith Richards is said to be on board for another "Pirates of the Caribbean" film.
An unnamed source tells the UK's "Daily Mail" the Rolling Stones guitarist signed on to reprise the role of Captain William Teague in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. The insider adds that filming on the fifth installment of the franchise will begin next October. A release date hasn't been set yet.
Keith originated the role of Captain Teague, the father to Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow, in 2007's Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End. The rocker was also featured in 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. But his influence was felt in the first "Pirates" film.
Depp has said that he based his swashbuckling character on Richards.
